CRYPTIFIED's video: PT CRUISER ERROR CODE FIX CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON

Fixing Cars and Stuff. If you have a PT CRUISER, the Check Engine light is on and you have Error code PO551 ?? This Video is for YOU. The Problem is the Power Steering Pressure Sensor Switch and let me tell you, It's Not easy to get to, So if you plan on doing it yourself ?? Then Go Buy another one, I got mine from Advance Auto because you are going to have to do a "QUICK CHANGE" This means Once you remove the Old one you IMMEDIATELY HAVE TO INSTALL THE NEW ONE, due to the Power Steering fluid leaking out all over you from where you just removed the OLD SENSOR. SO Have the New One READY TO INSTALL. Find, clean, and if need be, replace the Power Steering Pressure Switch on your . I had Check Engine Light on, and the auto shop checked it, showing , defined as A) Power Steering Pressure Switch Defective or B) Check Connector and Wiring. I bought a replacement switch ($25) You'll need a SHORT 9/16 OPEN Ended Wrench or an Adjustable Crescent Wrench to get this done. You'll need some Electrical Contact Cleaner or Carb/Choke Cleaner will work if you're in a pinch (just let it dry for 5 minutes).. It's my first instructional video, and I was only motivated to do it because I could not find any clear instructions on where to find this switch on the car. I hope that it will save you some time and frustration. Camera is shaky at times, but I hope good enough so you can see what you need to see.
