Tata power beat street estimates with 43% growth in its revenue. Q3 FY22 reported total consolidated revenue stands at 11018 cr vs ET Now Poll of 9520 cr led by the acquisition of Odisha discom. Margins, however, depleted to sub 15% vs 23% expected due to raw material input pressures. the PAT beat at 552 cr was led by the coal JV of the company which reported a profit of 623 cr vs 23 cr YoY. The management also highlighted that it plans to set up 4GW solar cell & module manufacturing capacity with an investment of ₹3,400 crore on the back of a strong solar EPC order book which crossed ₹10,000 crore. They are also looking at expanding EV infrastructure and have developed a network of 1200+ EV charging points across India.
