This video is a quick demonstration and overview of the process of changing the lithium ion rechargeable battery packs on the EV1 all electric off road racer during a pit stop. A typical swap out takes about 5 minutes. Each pack contains 41kWh of energy, and weighs approximately 900 pounds.
