WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE! COBA ANCIENT MAYAN RUINS - CLIMBING THE TALLEST PYRAMID IN MEXICO! Coba was our last stop after very long, hot day in Tulum. As soon as I saw the base of the pyramid peeking through the jungle trees, I had no hesitation and felt a surge of energy. I put away everything in my backpack (camera included) had to be fully present and have all my hands free to make the climb. The amount of pure satisfaction and accomplishment getting to the top was freakin amazing. It started to thunder when I reached the top and by the time I got back to our Easy Tour van it was storming! Ahh, I loved it! Once again I highly recommend anyone who is looking for absolute beauty and pure adventure. Mexico has it!! I highly suggest you go to this amazing sacred place before they stop letting people climb it which further deteriorates the ancient structure and makes it even more unsafe.
