There, we drove to Tiger Tops, an eco-tourism resort in Chitwan National Park. In this episode, Aubrey and I learn how to make elephant sandwiches or Kuchi. We got to spend several days with these majestic animals during our stay at Tiger Tops in Chitwan National Park. Elephants have an incredible memory, and some had a rough life before they arrived at Tiger Tops. Because of their abusive past, few are slow to trust new people and care to interact only with their handlers. We respected that boundary and stayed a safe distance. As for the more friendly of the herd, we call those our ele-FRIENDS. During your travels around the world, please don’t ever ride the elephants. The box on the elephant’s back is very bad for their health, and on top of that, the only way an elephant will allow humans (aside from their handler) to ride them is by breaking the elephant’s spirit at a very young age. Do a quick Google search about this and you’ll quickly understand why it's so awful. Sadly, many resorts still chain the elephants by their feet. Tiger Tops used to do this, but they are learning and trying to become better.
