How to use the VLOOKUP function in Google sheets to look up data from a range in one sheet and display the data in another sheet. In this video, I'm showing an example of how I linked data between 2 sheets. This is done in 2 steps: Step 1 - link the sheets together using the =IMPORTRANGE() function. Once you allow the destination sheet to access the data range in the source sheet, then you'll delete the data you've imported and move to step 2. Step 2 - Use the =VLOOKUP() function to select the data you want to look up, then use the IMPORTRANGE() string from step 1 as the range in the vlookup formula. I've found this to be really useful for a number of projects.
