Going within. Feeling our breath. Sending love deep into our bodies. Feeling that love go down into the earth. We imagine this love transforming inside the earth and becoming a beautiful network of roots that intertwine and expand all over. These roots bring care, support, and resiliency to us and all of our loved ones. We remember that we are a part of a long lineage of people who have adapted, repurposed, reclaimed, and recreated themselves. Our ancestors are present with us as long as we remember to connect with them and share our love for them. May our ancestors continue to bless and guide us. May we continue to bless and care for our ancestors. May our moments of care for ourselves nourish us and add to our ability to navigate our world’s ever changing winds and to be present for our communities. May we move deeper and deeper into the knowing and truth that we are a part of a network of care and creativity. May our artists and visionaries continue to bring forward important truths and center the wisdom of our rich cultural inheritances and of newly emerging collective mutations.
