Australian Government Department of Education's video: How to Apply Australian Training Awards Student Categories

The Australian Training Awards are the peak, national awards for the vocational education and training (VET) sector, recognising individuals, businesses and registered training organisations for their contribution to skilling Australia. This video explains how to apply for the student categories of the Awards including Apprentice of the Year Award, Trainee of the Year Award, Vocational Student of the Year Award, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year Award and the Australian School-based Apprentice of the Year Award. The majority of the Australian Training Awards are the culmination of the state and territory training awards programs with winners from each state and territory eligible to compete at the national level in aligned categories.
