About the university:- Good afternoon everyone, in this video we have tried to provide all necessary information about Kazan federal University, Russia. Kazan city where this university is situated, is one of the beautiful, neat and clean city in Russia which is known as Sports city. This is one of the most demanding university being its quality and rank. The university was established in the year 1806. This is almost 214 years old govt university which is recognized by all MCI, WHO, ECFMG, AMEE, GMC WFME. University comes under the dream project of the Russian Govt 5-100 project association which was launched in the year 2012 by the President. The university has also been shortlisted under the project. From the year 2012 to 2017 Govt of Russia has invested Rs. 6,570 crore for research and other related works. About the world rank:- In the year 2012 the university was ranking 600+ in the QS world ranking whereas after govt’s effort now in 2020 it is ranking 370. About hostel:- Around 34 neat and clean hostel buildings are available in the university for all MBBS students out of which 3 buildings have exclusively been allocated for Indian students where the students get double and triple occupancy rooms having full facility. Being its vastness, all facilities including daily use commodities are available inside the campus due to this students generally do not go outside the campus. About Hospital:- For practical exposure etc, a big hospital is also available inside the campus being a federal university with huge simulation centre. Other than this KFU is associated with around 40 hospitals of Kazan city This year the University has got permission from the Govt for 5 years MBBS programme that too for 30 seats only out of 120 seats. Remaining seats are for 6 years MBBS programme. Weather is charming. In the summer it touches 30 to 35 degree and in the winter it goes around – 8 to 10.
