GAYER ANDERSON MUSEM III ; (bayt el Kritiliya III) This Fantastic Museum, unknown for the most of people is in my opinion one Marvel more of Egypt which should be visited for everybody.The Gayer Anderson Museum so named for a British doctor, John Gayer Anderson, who restored and unified two old buildings of XVIth Cent.is Located in Cairo, beside of the Mosque Ibn Tulun.(in this video you can see some views of this Mosque from the museum) Gayer Anderson decorated the rooms in a variety of Oriental styles and filled them with objects from his travels. In addition to objects from Iran and Turkey, and many Egyptian items (ancient Egypt included), as well as a collection of paintings and drawings done by 20th century artists. The building, with its wooden mashrabiya (screened windows), is also known for being a set for the James Bond 007 agent movie "The Spy Who Loved Me". The museum has also one of the few working Islamic period fountains in Egypt, and has a fine collection of birthing chairs and medical equipment in keeping with Gayer Anderson ’s job as a doctor
