This is an 8-bit version of "Grand Battle" from Fate/Grand Order. Fate/Grand Order is a mobile game in the long-running Fate series, where mages can summon "Heroic Spirits", legendary figures such as King Arthur or Hercules, and have the Heroic Spirits fight on their behalf. In Fate/Grand Order, the organization Chaldea protects the world across all time periods to ensure humanity's safety. However, one day, humanity comes under assault in all time periods by paradoxical threats such as dragons in the Hundred Years' War or robots in Victorian London. These anomalies cause "Singularities", time paradoxes that you, the protagonist, along with the Heroic Spirits you have summoned, must travel to and fix before it is too late. "Grand Battle" is the battle theme that plays for the boss at the end of a Singularity, and it is far and away my favorite track in the game. Not only is it epic and beautiful, it's also incredibly fitting, making you really feel as though you've engaged in a final battle to save the world against a fearsome threat.
