An 8-bit remix of "Septette for the Dead Princess", the theme of Remilia Scarlet, the final boss of Touhou 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. One of the best Touhou songs in my opinion, ranking 15th on my list of favorites. That solo at 1:46, in particular, is one of my favorite pieces of music ever. This song's title is silly, though. Not only is it not a septette (a septette is a song with seven voices), but Remilia isn't dead (in the Touhou universe, vampires are a type of youkai/spirit rather than being undead) and she's not a princess (she claims to be a descendant of Vlad Tepes, but she's not human). Quite a misleading title, if you ask me. You may have noticed the "theme" for this month's songs; it's October, so these songs are all "spooky" in nature. First we visited the underworld and saw some ghosts with "Night Sakura of Dead Spirits"; next, we traveled through a forest under a full moon and met a werewolf for "Bamboo Forest of the Full Moon"; and now, we're entering a haunted mansion to face off with a vampire with "Septette for the Dead Princess".
