Whilst most of the rest of the world is under one form of lockdown or another, the people of Guernsey in the UK Channel Islands are enjoying Christmas 2020 without the need for facemasks or social distancing. This is mainly due to the tough immigration laws that involve a 14-day mandatory isolation period and testing. I'm so lucky to be here enjoying the freedom that this little island has given me.
