This tune was done in the late 70s early 80s as a parody for the funk disco craze at the time imitating as if Alan whicker the TV presenter had done a rap song containing a lot of the funky catch phrases of the time Evasions-Wikka Wrap and references to records of that genre wicker who was well spoken though his travels around the world to Journeys end you could say the Original gentleman rhymer Mr B chap hop professor elemental electro swing type thing, a sample was also used in a song by coolio - 1234 get your woman on the floor in the 90s dance , Alan did know of the tune and apparently was amused by it when asked during an interview He was best known for his long-running documentary series, Whicker's World, The show, which ran from 1959 to 1988 on both the BBC and ITV, saw him travel all over the world interviewing all types of people from millionaires and monks to gangsters and dictators.
