I'm back. It's been a long time since I've uploaded anything here,, that's because me and my family have had a very rough time as of late. For those who do not know my mum has been ill for a while, it's why I started making my videos. I have no medical knowledge and felt powerless to help. For all my degrees I couldn't help my own family. So I started making videos, in a time when I had no control these videos allowed me to control every second and every frame. It helped me create something while I just watched everything else be taken. Over the past few months things took a turn for the worse. Her conditioned worsened beyond what we ever feared. Treatments and surgeries became constant and seemed to provide fewer results each time. I spent most the past month or so in the hospital with her. Because of this and my own foolish mistakes my thesis fell apart and honestly I didn't have it in me to fix it. Several weeks ago, after watching the strongest woman I ever met slowly be taken apart piece by piece she passed away with her family by her side. These past few years have been the toughest of my life, and these past months easily the worst. I will never forget the woman who gave everything she had to make me the man I am today. At times this doesn't seem real and I wonder if I'll wake up at some point and everything will be back to normal. Until then me and my family are working to find a new normal. Over the past few months I have seen too many heart breaking moments, and yet through all of it the kindest people have stepped up. Friends and family have gone out of their way to support us and I will be eternally grateful. I know this is a highly personal matter, one which means little to the average YouTube viewer, but I ask that you take two points from my story. The first is to keep in touch with your family. Call your parents, your siblings, any one who means something to you. You never know how much time we have or what tomorrow brings. The second is to bring something into this world. It can be a cold and heartless place at times, taking the kindest people for the worst reasons. Things don't Disney themselves right at the end, it is up for the people to bring some form of balance and happiness to the world. A kind act towards someone on their darkest day can mean the world to them. Thank you for listening to me rambling. I just thought I would give a brief explanation on what's been happening. I'll work on getting back to editing now, but understand that time and money is a bit shorter than it use to be.
