Elevators & Sirens of MSP's video: Federal Signal 508-128 Siren Test - Alert - Cottage Grove MN 9 7 22

For September's monthly siren test for most of the state, I went to Washington County for this 508, located at Pine Coulee Park in Cottage Grove. This was installed last spring to replace an STL-10 across the highway that still stands, albeit inactive. There was some sort of medical emergency nearby so the county was a little late with testing, as tones weren't sent out until 1:02. Like most 508's, this siren was quite loud, and is definitely an upgrade over what it replaced. After this siren winds down, you can hear a 2001 or two coming from Hastings, and what sounded like a T-128 from Rosemount, although I couldn't quite tell from where I was. Washington County, like most of Minnesota, tests their sirens on the first Wednesday of each month at 1PM from March-October.
