Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. " The Gospel of Jesus is God's power for my salvation and it was all done out of Love for the world so that all who would believe, repent, and follow Christ would be saved. Now sin no longer has dominion over the believer and he is to follow and reflect the character of Jesus. He laid down his life for us to save us from an eternity in hell. He taught us to love protect and lay down our lives for others and when we bear arms to protect the people around us we are showing that we care for them, love them, and want to protect them. John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." When we are willing to lay down our lives for our friends and families we are glorifying God. So yes the Gospel and Guns are very compatible. Ecclesiastes 3:3 "a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;" Luke 22:35-38 "And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about me has its fulfillment.” And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them, “It is enough.”
