Elitath's video: Undertale--Memory Vocal Cover Original Lyrics

I'm several years late to the Undertale song bandwagon, but that's okay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've been toying around with posting music to this account for a while, and I've finally decided to just do it, so I hope you enjoy it! This song (and Undertale) is by Toby Fox. Rain noises are from here: https://freesound.org/s/399157/ Lyrics are by me--I tried to go more from the angle of a person observing the story/listening to the music box, rather than from Asriel's own perspective. Lyrics: A distant melody, floating down gently... A song you've never heard, but seem to know somehow... Silent tales of forgotten lore, by all but King Asgore, followed by mother's sorrow, for she has lost her child. Tales of a human kid, tales of their monster friend, poisoned by buttercups-- one day they didn't get up. Sadness fell over the land. All hope was lost again. War was waged on humankind-- kids fell one at a time. The prince's friendship forgotten-- now there can be no humans. Life continues underground. The Queen lives without a sound. From there the memory fades. The music box degrades. Now no one can hear the song, but by a human's love.
