Fixing potholes in a gravel parking lot across from my shop. The best way I have found to eliminate potholes is to cut them out and regrade the area. Then spread the new and old rock together and track back in. The key is to get all the water out and graft the new rock back in with the old on the lot. If you just fill them in with rock they will show back up in no time. So I go through the steps I take to repair potholes in a gravel lot then topcoat the lot with new rock. This lot happens to have the old asphalt lot under the rock on the far side of the building and the landowner does not want to spend the money to rip it out and regrade the lot the way it needs to be done. So I just had to make the best of it on that side, the lot takes a beating from all the trucks that drive through it. We'll see how it holds up. Thanks for watching!
