HELLO!!!!!! *echoes* Anyone out there? LOOK! I HAVE A NEW VIDEO!!!!!!! I know it's been literally forever since I uploaded something or had any real interaction over here. I've pretty much given up on my YT channel in favor of my tumblr in these last few months. But I'm starting to migrate back to YT now. I know I say that all the time, but it's happening again. I haven't had inspiration to vid in so long and now it's really starting to hit me again. And I am really happy about it. Maybe it's because I have some new fandoms I really want to vid. I'm not sure. But I'm not going to question it. I'm just going to go with it because I am really happy about it. Alright, so this video is old. I started it back in March after the last episode of TCW aired. It was so close to being finished, so instead of starting something fresh, I decided to finish this one. I had so much pain and emotion over everything that has happened with Star Wars this year. Between this CW episode arc, the Disney acquisition, and the "cancellation" of The Clone Wars, it was all so much for me to handle. I was literally an emotional wreck. Star Wars is THAT important to me. It's a huge part of my life and it means so much to me. But as time went on, I learned to accept it. I did what I could do to help the fight, but it was more or less a lost cause. What's done is done. And while I am still very much upset over what happened to Clone Wars, I still celebrate it for what it was and what it always will be. TCW will always be special to me. And I will continue to keep my love and appreciation for the show and its amazing creators alive through my videos, but also on my tumblr where I make edits and gifs. (shameless plug for my tumblr: http://witwereckstein.tumblr.com/) Anyways, this video focuses on Anakin and Ahsoka throughout the final arc of Season 5. Over the years there have been some really great episodes/arcs, but other than Mortis, the Ahsoka arc is the one that impacted me most as a fan. Aside from Anakin/Obi-Wan, Anakin/Ahsoka is my favorite relationship in Star Wars. So it was really heartbreaking to watch these episodes and see their relationship, more or less, fall apart. And that's what my video focuses on. This song is so beautiful. And it was one of the many on a list I compiled that I thought really fit these episodes. I actually haven't watched these episodes in full since they aired. Just bits and pieces and whatever it took to make this video. I'm kind of weary to because that first and only time left me feeling really down. I'm sure I'm in a better mindset now, but....yeah. Anyways, enjoy the video. Hopefully there will be more soon.
