So this Christmas, this entire year really, has been a low time. I’m sure many like myself who are having to spend Christmas alone can understand. After such a traumatic challenging year, spending the holidays alone is really quite the cherry. My son can’t be here as he is in the Navy with heavy restrictions due to this crazy virus, restrictions which I fully support! He is Nuclear Operator on a submarine and those are small boats so we need our young men/women strong, safe, and healthy! Sending all our military love! Thank you for your service and lots of love to your families who are missing you this Christmas! I haven’t felt Christmas this year, but last night finally feeling well enough to take a walk, and seeing my little town and all the Christmas lights made me thankful for all the many wonderful memories I have been so lucky to share with my son, my family, and friends! This year has made me so extremely grateful for moments shared with loved ones. This song came to mind while looking at the lights. It made me laugh and seemed perfect.
