Emily Batty's video: 2022 Leogang Cross Country World Cup Race Recap - Blood Broken Bones and Comebacks

The fourth round of the UCI Cross Country Mountain Bike World Cup does not disappoint. Not only was it the week we helped launch the all-new Canyon LUX CFR World Cup Bike, but we also experienced our form of launching. We kicked things off with a week of madness where we almost lost our team tent in the Wednesday storm (not documented in the video). We followed that up with the cross country short track race, which always has its fair share of ups and downs - pun intended on the ups and downs. Followed by Jenn Jackson's very unexpected crash resulting in her breaking her elbow and Emily Batty shredding her knee, and the craziest comeback of Emily's racing career. Note, the knee shred was in training, the comeback was in the cross country race. She suffered a crash in the start after her and some riders came together, but not in a fun way…. Which saw her fall back to second last place, only to race forward to finish…. Watch the video :) All in all, a heck of a week for a standalone event in the beautiful mountains of Leogang, Austria.
