It's been a good long time since I did any painting but I wanted to show you how I made this painting from just over a month ago. Painting in your sketchbook is such a great way to let loose and just have fun. Sometimes the perfectionism of painting stops you from creating entirely and just messing around in a sketchbook can really help you break that perfectionism wall blocking your path. In this video I show you how to paint some trees and bushes and grass for a sweet little pastoral scene. This painting was all about layering. I was not concerned at all with any blending. This was just about building up colors one by one until we had a full finished piece.
