Lyme Disease is a complex multi-system inflammatory disease commonly transmitted by a tick bite. Unfortunately Lyme Disease is not recognised in Australia as it is largely misunderstood by the medical community and often goes misdiagnosed. Due to this, it has taken me ten years to finally obtain an accurate diagnosis. There are thousands of people suffering with Lyme Disease in Australia who do not have access to adequate testing or treatment for the disease, myself included. Music is very important to me and is one of the only things that keeps me going. This song was written to raise awareness for Lyme Disease in Australia and internationally.
