Wuxia fiction is a long-standing Chinese tradition, and The Legend of the Condor Heroes is one of the most important stories in the genre. It is a story of love and vengeance that spans generations. I grew up reading Jin Yong's books. This is the newest live-action of one of my favourite series, so I wanted share it with people who might not speak Chinese. It is corny, funny, and beautiful. I hope you all enjoy! My favourite character appears! Rong is a fantastic heroine. I've loved her since I was twelve and read "Return of the Condor Heroes" for the first time. Li Yi Tong plays Rong in this 2017 version, and though she lacks an edge of viciousness and cunning that defines the character for me, she's a very cute Rong.
