Divided into two separate phases, the first phase of the TransPeshawar BRT system will encompass an east-west corridor for 26km that consists of 31 stations with an initial 383 buses, at a cost of 55.9 Billion Rupees, the project is marginally more expensive than other Transport projects in Pakistan, 88.8% or 49.6 Billion Rupees for the project were loaned by the Asian Development Bank to the KPK government.
