English Heritage's video: Making a Replica Jomon Flame Pot

@Making a Replica Jomon Flame Pot
Heritage potter and experimental archaeologist Graham Taylor explores the challenges of making a replica flame pot. The original artefact was brought from Japan to feature in a new exhibition at Stonehenge, and English Heritage commissioned this replica to be part of the handling collection. 'Circles of Stone: Stonehenge and Prehistoric Japan' will tell the story of prehistoric Japan through its settlements and stone circles of the middle and late Jomon periods, the time when Stonehenge was built and used. The exhibition is open from 30 September 2022 until August 2023.
