Chris Klafford is a 30 year old singer from Sweden who is currently competing on season 14 of America’s Got Talent. Before his audition, Chris explained he grew up in a small town and started singing in the 5th grade. For his audition, Chris performed a heartfelt acoustic rendition of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Many audience members and some of the judges were seen wiping away tears as he sang. After the performance, Chris received a standing ovation and could be seen wiping away a few of his own tears. In 2017, Chris competed on season 13 of “Swedish Idol” and he also sang the John Lennon classic for his Swedish Idol audition. The performance was so popular that he performed his rendition of Imagine once again for the Swedish Idol final and went on to win the competition.
