Caitlin Padgett - Para Rider's video: i want you

I've never made a venting video before. But I've had some really tough news about Bellamy yesterday. I'm just gonna copy and past what I wrote on facebook- Hard day today. Bellamy's vet called me today. I assumed it was taking a little longer than usual to come back in because it wasn't anything major and it just got pushed back a bit. But nope.. Seems Bel doesn't like to do things by halves. Bellamy is really quite poorly. Which has shocked me and my vet- she said I've done a good job with him for him to look better than his numbers say he is. He has a problem with his liver, but his numbers don't add up for the more common causes. The vet has consulted with a specialist as they could't say whether it was safe to follow the normal treatments- which is why the results took a bit longer to get to me. At this time it's looking like either an abscess (on his liver) or tumour(s). For now we're treating like an abscess and hoping that he will make improvements. If not it's further testing to see if they can find any tumours, and get a prognosis for his future. Heartbreaking to know how poorly he really is, but to see him trot up and whinny to me today showed me that right now he is happy, which is the important thing🤞 He's a very special boy and I love him with all my heart. As I probably have some hefty vet bills on the way, I'm gonna be pushing my watercolour sketches a bit more.
