Der Glattalp-Stausee ist praktisch leer, nur noch rund ein Fünftel bis ein Viertel seines normalen Sommer-Pegels sind gespeichert. Das hat mehrere Gründe. Einerseits ist es der schneearme letzte Winter, dann standen Revisionsarbeiten an der Kraftwerksanlage an und es ist ein sehr trockener Sommer. Derzeit fliesst fast kein Wasser mehr in den See.
