What a way to start a road trip! We paddled through the absolute stillness of Lake Powell when the stars were still high in the sky. Just as we rounded the corner into the mouth of these massive sandstone cliffs, the sun rose above and poured down the canyon. Our plan for this trip was simple. We took a map of Utah, circled all the bodies of water we could find.
