Erik Dalton's video: Manual Therapy Technique for Shoulder Impingement due to Bad Posture

@Manual Therapy Technique for Shoulder Impingement due to Bad Posture
Although researchers have not been able to correlate rotator cuff impingement with suboptimal postures such as upper crossed syndrome, my experience is that it plays a major role in many rotator cuff tendinopathies—particularly in those who perform overhead activities. In this video I demonstrate a Myoskeletal Alignment Technique for shoulder impingement syndrome. One of hte things that restrict shoulder motion is the pear shaped glenoid fossa. This technique puts constant, gentle pressure on the shoulder to slide it down to the right place, with the help of my client (in this video it's my wife). I also do a hooking technique to have control of the arm before I place pressure on the shoulder to gently push and suggest to the shoulder to move down toward the glenoid fossa. I hope you enojyed watching the video demonstration, please leave a comment and like the video if you did!
