Medjugorje is a small on the SW of Bosnia-Hercegovinia near the border of Croatia. It had become a popular pilgrimage site following claims of Virgen Mary apparitions by 6 teenagers since June 24 1981. After 34 yrs they continue to see apparitions & receive messasges from the Blessed Virgen Mary. Though this has not been confirmed by the ecclesiastical authorities large numbers of pilgrims & devotees continue to arrive of at least a million a year so that it has now become the 3rd most visited apparition site next only to Lourdes in France Fatima in Portugal.
