We show you step by step how to install our new high tensile sump stud kit (oil pan stud kit) in your Mazda Rotary engine. This kit was designed to make installation of thicker sumps (like those from Greddy or other aftermarket builders) easier and allow for easy alignment of multiple items being installed on the the oil pan flange such as sump baffles, oil pans and oil pan braces. The studs are made from high tensile zinc plated steel to ensure corrosion protection while remaining extremely strong. The advantage of this stud kit over traditional fasteners is that you are less likely to strip threads from the engine block when installing. This kit requires minimal tools and is simple to install.
