Panel discussion "Equity in Casting" Equity in entertainment is an urgent goal, and the desire to finally see real-world results grows ever stronger across the industry. But what's the most effective path forward in pursuit of that goal -- especially in Europe? Casting is a good starting point, and we've assembled a group with varying professional backgrounds: Aleta Chappelle, a veteran New York casting director; Olgu Caglar, a talent agent based in London, Berlin and Istanbul and Cassandra Han, a European-based American casting director and member of the 2021 Shooting Stars Jury. We encourage active audience participation in this panel and – though we cannot possibly expect to solve such a huge issue during an hour of discussion – the aim is to initiate a constructive discourse about systemic change. moderator: Imran Khan (big window productions)
