Here are my favorite teas from the Vahdam 24 Tea Advent Calendar I did in Dec 2021. Plus bonus tips to make your own mix! Find the links below if you want to try these teas. HOMEMADE GOLDEN MILK MIX 1 whole vanilla beans, seeds scraped 1/3 cup ground turmeric 1 tablespoon ground ginger 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 1/3 to 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 to 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 1 cup coconut or dairy milk powder (OPTIONAL **) * Mix all the ingredients in a bowl till well combined. * Heat 8 ounces of milk. In a mug, add one heaping teaspoon of the powder and mix in a bit of the hot milk and stir to remove any lumps. Add the rest of the hot milk, stir, and enjoy. * *OPTIONAL if a milk powder was added: Combine two heaping tablespoons of the powder mix it with 8 ounces of boiling water. Leave to steep 3-5 min, strain, and enjoy.
