Everness's video: Anno 2205 Music Ambience

@Anno 2205 – Music & Ambience
Welcome to the year 2205. One hundred years ago humanity set forth to populate the Moon for the first time, starting the First Wave of lunar colonization. The new, grey world provided the people of Earth with plenty of resources and new technologies, but the big corporations became greedy. Chaos broke out during the race to this new source of wealth, forcing the world government to limit the rights on mining operations. A state-owned enterprise called the Lunar Excavation Corporation was founded to replace all private enterprises. But soon, the world government turned to other projects, leaving the L.E.C. to their own devices. Feeling abandoned, the lunar people turned their backs on Earth. Likewise, the L.E.C. was all but forgotten by the terrestrial populace. By the dawning of the 23rd century, however, energy and resources have become scarce, forcing humanity to prepare for a second leap to the moon. Text above is taken from the official game manual. Editor’s note: music tracks marked with an asterisk are alternative, often more subdued versions of the originals, taken directly from the game files. I left out some of the more intense action-oriented tunes from the battle missions for a better flow of this particular compilation. Also, the camera flybys from the intro sequence are programmed into the game itself and could not be changed or controlled in any way. Speaking of the intro, I could not for the life of me fix the stuttering happening during those high speed camera movements. Neither going frame by frame nor installing special software for frame synchronization helped in any way. It appears so that the game engine is just not designed to handle this type of rapid angle changes smoothly. 0:00 - The Second Wave Overture 5:04 - Global Union Anthem 8:11 - The Vortex* 10:51 - Lei Sheng Technology 12:28 - A Dying Glacier’s Whisper 14:33 - Thawing 16:48 - Longing for Accidental Contact* 18:28 - Dear Distant Earth 20:30 - Helium 3* 22:32 - Lunar by Birth* 24:26 - Usoyev Cannot Be Trusted* 26:09 - Space Lift Engineering 27:53 - Ibarra FoxCom 29:53 - The Algorithm of Mankind* 31:47 - Megalopolis 35:04 - Neo Industrialist* 37:15 - Redemption 38:50 - The Truth Lies Hidden Beneath the Ice* 40:48 - The Stabilizers 42:20 - A Dying Glacier’s Whisper* 44:27 - Lunar Licensing 46:54 - Dear Distant Earth* 48:55 - Helium 3* 51:00 - The Algorithm of Mankind* 53:22 - The Vortex 56:02 - Lei Sheng Technology* 57:39 - Space Lift Engineering* 59:24 - Lunar by Birth 1:01:17 - Lunar Licensing* 1:03:37 - Dear Distant Earth* 1:05:41 - Kreep Harvesters Crawl* 1:07:44 - The Second Wave* 1:11:07 - Neo Industrialist 1:13:17 - The Arc* 1:14:44 - The Algorithm of Mankind 1:17:07 - Megalopolis* 1:20:25 - Usoyev Cannot Be Trusted 1:22:08 - Thawing* 1:24:25 - Longing for Accidental Contact 1:26:03 - The Truth Lies Hidden Beneath the Ice 1:27:59 - The Stabilizers* 1:29:33 - Helium 3 1:31:35 - Lunar by Birth* 1:33:24 - Lunar Licensing* 1:35:47 - Rolling Barrage 1:38:21 - Ibarra FoxCom* 1:39:52 - Megalopolis* 1:43:12 - The Second Wave 1:46:36 - The Arc Music and sounds for the game created by Dynamedion Additional audio-related credits: Creative Director & Lead Composer - Tilman Sillescu Composers - Alexander Röder, Jochen Flach, Matthias Wolf, Armin Haas Lead Sound Designer - Michael Schwendler Sound Designer and Audio Integration - David Ostermacher Sound Designers - Michael Prechtl, Valentin Göllner, Stefan Kemler Additional Sounds Design - Felix Diekhake, Tristan Horton, Axel Rohrbach, Patrice Börding, Sebastian Emling
