The government has decided to establish the Labour Information Bank to collect the data of unemployed citizens and provide employment opportunities to them on the basis of their competencies. The Labour Information Bank will coordinate the unemployed youths of the nation with employers, she said. The initial capital of the bank would be managed on the basis of skills and competencies of the Nepali youths, said the President. The government is preparing to establish a real-time database to connect job seekers with prospective employers, and to help construct the country’s labour force profile, officials said.
