Recovery Mode on Android is usually filled with a lot of different tools, but Xiaomi actually keeps this pretty slimmed down in their Redmi sub-brand. But if you're having difficulty booting into Android. . .if you need to perform a factory data reset, or connect the phone to Xiaomi's Mi Assistant software, then Recovery Mode is what you need. This will work on the base model of the Redmi Note 13, the Redmi Note 13 Pro like I have here, and all of the other variants in this series. And it works by first getting your phone into a powered down state. So if you're currently booted into Android, then simply bring up the Power Menu and then select the Power Off option. However, if your smartphone is currently in a bootloop, then you'll need to wait until the phone reboots again before pressing the button combination that I'm about to show you. Once you see the screen go black, you can then begin holding down the Power button and the Volume Up button. Keep holding these two buttons down until you see the Redmi logo appear on the screen. The phone will vibrate as well. Once you see that logo, let go of the Power button and then continue holding the Volume Up button. If done correctly, that will trigger the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Recovery Mode and you'll boot to this menu instead of booting into Android. From here, you can either perform a factory data reset and wipe all of the data from your phone. Or you can activate the Xiaomi Mi Assistant feature from here. Which will then ask you to connect the phone to the PC with a USB cable and launch a program on your PC. Once you're done with Recovery Mode on the Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro +, Redmi Note 13 4G, Redmi Note 13R, or any of the other variants in this series. We can then reboot back into Android by making sure the Reboot option is highlighted And then choosing the Reboot to System option. This will reboot your smartphone from Recovery Mode, and as long as you aren't holding any of the Volume buttons on the side here. It will attempt to boot you directly into Android. If you notice that you're boot looping into Recovery Mode over and over, there's likely something wrong with the Android filesystem. And it's advised to wipe all of your data before attempting to boot into the Android operating system again. That will cause you to lose all of your apps, photos, and videos, but it will at least get your phone booted into a working version of Android.
