Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is making a comeback in India after being removed from app stores due to security concerns. The modified version of PUBG Mobile tailored for the Indian market will be re-released soon, and players are eagerly awaiting the BGMI Unban Date. According to the information provided by Krafton, the South Korean developer and publisher of BGMI, the expected unban date is in June 2023. The official relaunch took place on May 29, 2023. After being banned for ten months by the Indian government, BGMI developer Krafton had to meet certain requirements before being allowed to relaunch the game. These requirements include making the game available with time constraints to prevent addiction, particularly among younger players. Changes have been made to the game to reduce violence, such as altering the color of blood to green instead of red. The Indian government's cautious approach led to a trial period for BGMI's return. The game will be accessible for a limited time each day for 90 days, during which its adherence to Indian laws will be closely monitored. The game's availability is expected to start around 5:30 pm on May 25, 2023, for both Android and iPhone users. Despite the limitations, BGMI remains highly anticipated. It gained immense popularity in India, attracting over 100 million players within a year of its original release. Krafton reported that the game garnered a total of 200 million players and 24 million concurrent viewers, even becoming the first Esports event to be broadcast on mainstream television.
