FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute's video: Ocean Science Lecture Series featuring Paul Wills Ph D

@Ocean Science Lecture Series featuring Paul Wills, Ph.D.
"Fish Culture Research at FAU's Harbor Branch the Last 10 Years and the Future" Paul will recount the finfish aquaculture research he and his team have been involved in since he joined Harbor Branch in 2006. His first work here involved two large cooperative projects with the Agricultural Research Service of the United States Department of Agriculture. He has also had a number of projects funded by the Florida Aquaculture Review Council of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. He has led a large team of HBOI scientists developing and testing the novel Land-Based Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture funded by the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute Foundation’s Aquaculture Specialty License Plate fund. Mostly recently he and has team have been doing seminal work on the reproductive biology of Bonefish supported by the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust. These projects have resulted in multiple papers in research journals and trade publications, presentations at scientific meetings, and many outreach workshops for prospective fish culturists.
