Just when you thought corn couldn’t get any better, it just did! 🌽 This is Biaki, a Tausug specialty that uses very few ingredients but packs the best flavors of corn. 💛 We think that reusing the husk during the cooking process not only promotes sustainability, but also enhances the overall taste of this healthy snack! Have you tried this before? ✨ BIAKI Ingredients: corn husk 5 whole corn (with husk) 2 cups flour 1-½ cups brown sugar 1-½ fresh shredded coconut Procedure: 1. Remove the corn husk and set aside. Grate your corn finely and add flour, brown sugar, and shredded coconut. 2. Place ½ cup of the mixture on a piece of corn husk and fold in half then fold in the sides. Place seam side down and steam for 18-20 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
