With his tireless work-rate, lineout work and ability to be an absolute nuisance at the breakdown and in defending mauls, Wells won his first cap for England in the summer of 2021 against Canada and if he keeps his current form up it's not impossible to imagine more caps coming along his way in the place of players like Charlie Ewels.
