The barbell stiff leg deadlift works on the hamstrings, erectors, lats and gluteus maximus. Lets look at the steps: Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart Bend over and grab the barbell with the shoulder-width grip This is the starting position As you come up, retract your shoulder blades and lockout your knees Now, lower the bar keeping your legs straight Return to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of reps And that’s how you do a barbell stiff leg deadlift.
