The Mermaid Parade at Coney Island in Brooklyn, is an annual tradition that has been going on since 1983. It's a celebration of ancient mythology and honky-tonk rituals of the seaside, it showcases over 3,000 creative individuals from all over the five boroughs and beyond, opening the summer with incredible art, entrepreneurial spirit and community pride. If you have love for the mysterious ocean and the creatures that live there, this is a parade for you. This was my second year attending, this time I decided to vlog it!
