FITZ's video: The Borough of Parks from Paddys POV

I originally got the idea for this video Winter of 2022. I bought a Go Pro with the main intention of strapping it on Paddy's back to see life from his perspective. We spend a lot of time on our home Staten Island, NY. It's labelled as The Borough of Parks for a good reason, it's the greenest county with one-third of its land dedicated to providing space for wildlife and recreational activity in the city. Over the years I have brought Paddy to all the parks here at least more than once. Some many, some all the time. I have grown to develop a lot of love for the parks we have here because they almost all contain their own special uniqueness that makes you want to go back. One day I just said to myself, I want to show everyone what this place looks like from a dogs point of view. I started filming last summer 2022 and planned on ending it and uploading the final product before new years. However by the time December came around and with still so many parks left to get clips of, I realized this was going to take much more time than originally expected. That's when I decided I was going to film a whole year on the island, all 4 seasons. Today is September 22nd, the last day of summer 2023. I had a lot of fun getting all the footage and making this project taught me a lot about patience. I waited days for good weather and months for the next seasons to follow. I was choosing what would be the right song that fits perfectly, I ended up changing it 2 times. Lastly I essentially had to train Paddy to be a little videographer, to lead or follow behind me for different angles. Once I put it all together, I knew this was exactly what I wanted when I started with the vision. I hope you love it as much as I do!
