Piles of debris fill the view 360 degrees. Where houses used to be, there are only foundations. There are innumerable houses that have collapsed, some that fell sideways and some that were squashed. There is a car that crashed into the entrance of Takada Municipal elementary school. Staff make their way pushing their way through debris. Employees of the city office are walking over the dangerous debris, having been rescued by firemen. On top of the building that looks ready to collapse are those people left behind looking for help.
