From coach Jack Cambra and Fifty Barbell the anconeus extension focuses on the small muscle connecting the humerus and ulna. This is important in straight-arm strength development. Place the distal, or far end, of the bicep on a sturdy object while holding onto a weight. From a very passive start extend the arm to lockout the elbow and pause before controlling the weight down.
