FOX NASHVILLE's video: Parent s rant about canceling Columbus Day gets her removed from meeting

Sheriff’s officers had to physically remove a parent from the Rutherford County School Board Thursday night while she was talking about Columbus Day being exchanged for Indigenous Peoples Day. Rachel Robinson, the parent to a 6-year-old son in the schools, had three minutes to talk – but apparently she wasn’t done. The tense moments ended with Robinson being removed from the meeting by the local sheriff’s department. While most parents who got up to speak talked about the schools’ mask mandate, which was extended, a very upset Robinson used her time to talk about Christopher Columbus Day and the lessons her son was being taught about him.
