Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theatre is closing its doors after being open for more than 50 years. This season’s shows were booked up, the owner says, but then COVID-19 arrived. “I’ve gone seven months with zero revenue at the Barnhouse, and paid all the bills and everything else,” owner Norma Luther said. “Very few businesses can survive that.” Actors stopped by to pick up costumes or photos that held meaning to them. “It’s a big loss for the acting community,” actor Brian Russell said. He said he started his career at the Barn, and this month would’ve been his 40th year.
